Russian Defense Ministry Announces Control Over Towns in Donetsk

The Russian Defense Ministry announced today, Friday, that its forces have taken control of the towns of Nadyevka and Novosilka in the southern part of Donetsk province in eastern Ukraine, according to the official TASS news agency.

The ministry also stated that it conducted 11 strikes over the past week targeting energy facilities and port infrastructure in Ukraine.

Russian forces continue to apply pressure on Ukrainian troops across various fronts, having liberated the city of Sverdlikovo and the town of Yampolovka.

Sergey Rudskoy noted the recovery of over 800 square kilometers of territory previously occupied by Ukrainian forces.
