U.S. Announces “Historic” Resolution for Ukrainian Conflict at U.N. General Assembly

The United States announced its intention to present a “historic” resolution to the U.N. General Assembly next Monday, aimed at resolving the Ukrainian conflict.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed that the resolution reflects President Trump’s vision of restoring the U.N.’s fundamental role in maintaining international peace and security.

Meanwhile, Russia has begun preparations for a direct meeting between Trump and Putin.

The U.S. seeks to vote on a resolution regarding Ukraine in the U.N. Security Council by the third anniversary of the war, to prevent the U.N. from adopting a Ukrainian resolution condemning Russia.
