It is expected that the “Radio Begum” station in Afghanistan will resume broadcasting after the Taliban had suspended its operations due to what they described as unauthorized television content.

The station, which was established on International Women’s Day in 2021, provides educational content aimed at women and is run by Afghan women.

Despite the Taliban’s restrictions on education and employment for women and girls since taking power, the station continues its role in promoting women’s education.
