Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Sunday that Kyiv and Washington are nearing an agreement regarding access to Ukraine’s natural resources in exchange for security assistance.

Zelensky confirmed his willingness to step down “immediately” in exchange for his country’s accession to NATO.

During a press conference in Kyiv, Zelensky stated, “If there is peace in Ukraine, I am ready.”

In a related context, Ukraine experienced its most intense drone attack on Saturday night since the start of the Russian invasion, with Moscow launching 267 drones in a single strike.
