Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa has received an invitation from his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to attend the emergency Arab summit to be held in Egypt on 4 March, the Syrian presidency said on Sunday.

The President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Ahmad al-Sharaa, received an official invitation from the President of the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, to participate in the emergency meeting of the Arab League Council to be held in Cairo on 4 March 2025,’ it said in a statement.
