Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed Andriy Gnatov, commander of the joint forces of his country’s army.
According to a statement on the official website of the Ukrainian presidency on Wednesday, Zelensky signed a decree dismissing Gnatov from his post.
Gnatov took up the post in 2024, succeeding Yuri Sudol.
The Ukrainian presidency’s statement did not provide further details about the decision to dismiss Gnatov, or the name of the officer who will succeed him.
