US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky will visit Washington on Friday to sign an agreement on rare minerals and other issues.
Trump said the US would “get back the money we paid to Ukraine” for its support in the face of Russian aggression.
Zelensky said on Wednesday that the success of the planned minerals deal between Ukraine and Washington depended on his upcoming talks with President Donald Trump, as a draft of the agreement showed that the Americans had not provided any meaningful security guarantees.
