Dozens of people were injured in an explosion during a meeting of M23 rebel leaders with the population in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
AFP reported that two explosions occurred at the end of a meeting of the movement in Bukavu, on Thursday, in which one of its leaders, Kornai Nanga, was participating.
Earlier, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) reported that almost daily clashes between the M23 and Wazalendo have broken out in recent days in the town of Masisi, about 80 kilometres northwest of Goma.
