Japanese Authorities Issue Evacuation Orders for Approximately 2,000 Residents Due to Wildfires

Japanese authorities have issued evacuation orders for over 400 residents in a mountainous region in the north of the country, following the outbreak of wildfires last Saturday that threatened homes in the area. Helicopters worked for hours to combat the blaze but were unable to extinguish it in the mountains surrounding the town.

These measures are part of the Japanese authorities’ efforts to protect residents and property from the dangers of wildfires, especially in mountainous areas where the likelihood of fire spread increases due to climatic and geographical conditions.
