Emergency Arab Summit Kicks Off in Cairo to Discuss Gaza Reconstruction Plan

An emergency Arab summit convenes today ,in Cairo to discuss the situation in Gaza and develop a comprehensive plan for its reconstruction without displacing its residents.

The summit is being held amid increasing Israeli threats of renewed military operations in Gaza, dubbed the “Hell Plan.” Its goal is to finalize a comprehensive reconstruction strategy while ensuring that Palestinian citizens remain in their homes during the rebuilding process.

The Egyptian government had earlier announced, on Saturday, a fully developed recovery and reconstruction plan for Gaza, under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to be presented at the summit.

The summit is also expected to address opposition to U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposals regarding the displacement of Palestinians and to reaffirm a unified Arab stance in supporting Palestinian rights.

Several Arab leaders, including Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, are participating in the summit. Abbas arrived in Cairo earlier today to attend the emergency discussions

This summit aims to strengthen Arab solidarity and support for Palestinians, while ensuring that Gaza’s reconstruction proceeds without displacing its people or undermining their rights.
