The United States and Ukraine have announced the launch of new talks aimed at fostering peace in the region.

This initiative follows a discussion between U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz and Andriy Yermak, Head of the Ukrainian President’s Office.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that sustainable peace can only be achieved through strong collaboration with both Europe and the United States, especially as Kyiv faces challenges due to the suspension of U.S. military aid.

At the same time, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha stressed the importance of the European Union increasing its support for Ukraine and taking decisive measures to intensify pressure on Russia.
