Three people were killed on Wednesday as powerful storms swept across the United States.
The storms ripped off roofs in a small town in Oklahoma before moving east, prompting tornado warnings near the East Coast, while blizzards hit the Midwest and dry winds fuelled wildfires in Texas.
Meanwhile, forecasters warned that a storm from the Pacific would bring heavy rain and snow to California and other parts of the West through Friday.
California Governor Gavin Newsom warned via X that the storm could lead to a new debris flow in areas affected by recent wildfires.
