Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem stated on Thursday that mediator efforts are ongoing to implement the stages of the Gaza agreement between the Israeli occupation and Hamas, reaffirming the movement’s commitment to the various phases of the agreement.

He explained that the mediators are continuing their communications to ensure the implementation of the ceasefire agreement and the initiation of negotiations for the second phase.

On another note, a Palestinian source reported that Washington has offered Hamas the release of 10 living hostages in exchange for extending the ceasefire in Gaza for 60 days and opening the crossings.

Hamas is still considering its response to the U.S. proposal.
