Thousands of Worshippers at Al-Aqsa for the First Friday of Ramadan Despite Restrictions

Under tight security measures, thousands of Palestinians performed the first Friday prayers of the holy month of Ramadan at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the security restrictions imposed by the Israeli occupation.

Palestinian sources reported that approximately 90,000 Palestinians managed to reach the mosque.

For its part, the occupation police announced the deployment of 3,000 personnel in Jerusalem to monitor the surrounding crossings as part of a security plan to manage the influx of worshippers to Al-Aqsa.
