The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel will send a delegation to Doha next Monday to discuss the continuation of the ceasefire with Hamas in the Gaza Strip, which began on January 19.

The statement clarified that Israel accepted the invitation of international mediators supported by the United States to continue negotiations on extending the truce.

Reports also indicated that no agreement was reached on a temporary ceasefire during Ramadan.
