The foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) met in Jeddah and expressed their support for Egypt’s plan to rebuild Gaza.

The ministers rejected U.S. President Donald Trump’s call to depopulate the Gaza Strip of its Palestinian residents.

They endorsed the formation of a Palestinian administrative committee to govern the area for reconstruction efforts.

They also condemned Israeli “starvation policies” aimed at expelling Palestinians, referring to the cutting off of supplies to Gaza last week.
