Israel decided, today Sunday, to immediately stop supplying electricity to the Gaza Strip, although electricity has been cut off from the area since the beginning of the war in October 2023.

The Israeli Broadcasting Authority stated that Energy Minister Eli Cohen issued a decision to completely cut off electricity supplies to Gaza.

For its part, Hamas considered this action a continuation of the deliberate starvation policy, confirming that the Israeli army had actually cut off electricity from the first day of the aggression.
