The Iranian news agency Tasnim reported that joint naval drills between Iran, Russia, and China will commence tomorrow, Monday, at the port of Chabahar in southeastern Iran.
The Chinese Navy will participate with a destroyer and a supply ship as part of these drills, which aim to enhance security in a vital region that sees a massive movement of energy transport.
These drills, named “Security Belt – 2025,” are the fifth of their kind since 2019 and will include exercises on targeting naval targets, inspections, damage control, and joint search and rescue operations.
