Hamas reported the start of new negotiations in Doha to discuss a ceasefire, confirming its readiness to engage with seriousness and responsibility, hoping that this round will lead to tangible progress towards implementing the second phase of the agreement.
This phase includes halting the aggression, the withdrawal of the Israeli army from Gaza, as well as completing a prisoner exchange deal.
In this context, Hamas leader Abdul Rahman Shadeed criticized the U.S. administration for its continued support of Israel, considering the continued closure of Gaza crossings as a war crime.
