U.S. police arrested around 100 pro-Palestinian protesters after they stormed Trump Tower in New York, demanding the release of Columbia University student Mahmoud Khalil, who is being held for deportation.

Chaos ensued as police intervened to remove members of the Jewish Voice for Peace group.

Protesters wore red shirts with anti-Israel slogans and chanted for Mahmoud’s return home.
