NASA and SpaceX Launch New Mission to Replace Astronauts

NASA and SpaceX have launched a new mission to replace American astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams, who have been stranded at the International Space Station after a nine-month mission.

A replacement crew was sent late Friday and is expected to arrive late Saturday.

NASA is coordinating the transition to ensure a smooth handover, with Wilmore and Williams’ mission expected to conclude this week unless weather conditions interfere.
