The Board of Directors of the Qatar Stock Exchange has appointed Abdullah Mohamed Al-Ansari as the CEO of the exchange, effective Sunday, March 16, 2025.

Al-Ansari joined the Qatar Investment Authority in 2011, where he served as the Director of Qatari Funds from 2022 to 2025.

He was responsible for launching and developing several initiatives that contributed to strengthening the local economy and increasing market liquidity.

He also led a specialized team in the development of market products and enhancing both public and private assets.

Al-Ansari holds a Master’s degree in Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Qatar University.
