New York Times: Trump Administration Considers Travel Ban on 11 Countries

The New York Times reported on Saturday that the Trump administration is considering a travel ban to the United States from 11 countries.

A draft list of recommendations prepared by diplomatic and security officials proposes a “red” list of countries whose citizens would be outright banned from entering the U.S., including Afghanistan, Bhutan, Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, and Yemen.

The report also mentions an “orange” list of countries facing strict visa restrictions, such as Belarus, Eritrea, Haiti, Laos, Myanmar, Pakistan, Russia, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Turkmenistan.
