Oil prices saw a significant rise on Monday following remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump, in which he stated that Iran would be held responsible for any future attacks launched by the Houthis.
U.S. crude oil futures increased by 40 cents, reaching $67.58 per barrel, while Brent crude rose by 44 cents to $71.02 per barrel.
Trump stated on “Truth Social” that any Houthi attack would be considered an attack by Iran, emphasizing that Tehran would bear the responsibility and face severe consequences.
