According to the Center for Research in Astronomy, Astrophysics, and Geophysics (CRAAG), the earthquake occurred at 10:50 AM local time, with its epicenter located 9 kilometers northwest of Mihoub in Médéa Province.

The Algerian Civil Protection Authority confirmed that no injuries or material damage were reported. Emergency teams were deployed to assess the situation and ensure the safety of residents.
