Sudanese Vice President Promises to Eliminate Rapid Support Forces by April

Sudan’s Vice President of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Malik Agar, announced that Sudan aims to eliminate the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in most of the country’s states by the end of April.
Meanwhile, intense fighting continues between the Sudanese army and the RSF around the capital, Khartoum.
Agar condemned Kenya’s involvement in supporting the RSF in forming a parallel government, describing it as a violation of international laws.
At the same time, the Sudanese army carried out successful operations in Khartoum, while the RSF continues to control some neighborhoods in the city.
The ongoing conflict has resulted in dozens of civilian casualties, along with rising displacement and malnutrition, amidst a severe humanitarian crisis in the country.
