Ten Palestinians were killed and dozens injured in Israeli air raids on homes in the southern Gaza Strip at dawn on Thursday, the Gaza Civil Defence said.

The strikes targeted six houses in the area east of Khan Younis, causing dozens of casualties, including martyrs and wounded,’ civil defence spokesman Mahmoud Basal told AFP..

Ambulance and rescue teams are still working to pull the injured from under the rubble, amid fears that the death toll will rise due to the extensive damage to the homes targeted.
