The Israeli occupation army begins ground military operations in the Gaza Strip

The Israeli occupation army announced on Thursday the commencement of ground military operations across the Gaza Strip. The army clarified that one of the operations aims to “expand the defensive area between the northern and southern parts of the Strip.”

The occupation army also prohibited the movement of residents in the Gaza Strip along the Salah al-Din axis, allowing movement only from north to south via Al-Rasheed Street.

Later, the occupation army announced the initiation of a ground operation along the coastal axis in the Beit Lahia area in the northern part of the Strip.

This escalation comes after the Israeli occupation resumed its war on Gaza since early Tuesday, following its refusal to engage in the second phase of the ceasefire agreement.

In a related context, Israeli military sources stated that the army is experiencing a significant shortage of soldiers due to many refusing to return to their units with the resumption of the war in the Gaza Strip.
