Heavy rain and strong winds from Storm Martinho have caused the collapse of several buildings across mainland Portugal and Madeira, with the Lisbon metropolitan area being the most affected, where at least six people were injured.

The storm hit Portugal on Wednesday and Thursday, leaving widespread damage, including fallen trees and power poles.
