Russian drones struck the coastal city of Odesa on the Black Sea Thursday evening, injuring three people and damaging a residential building and a shopping center.
Regional governor Oleksiy Kiper confirmed that the attack led to emergency power outages, describing it as “another reminder to the world: the war continues, and Ukraine is still fighting.”
Fires broke out at three locations, prompting the response of over 70 personnel and 20 firefighting vehicles.
The attack comes ahead of a planned visit by Czech President Petr Pavel to the city.
