Israeli Occupation Launches Attack on Rafah as Gaza’s Death Toll Exceeds 50,000

The Israeli occupation began a massive military assault today, Sunday, on the Tel al-Sultan area in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.

The occupation issued a warning to residents of the area, stating that Tel al-Sultan is considered a “dangerous combat zone,” and urged them to move to the Mawasi area.

Furthermore, the occupation has prohibited movement by vehicles, indicating that remaining in shelters or traveling through unspecified routes puts their lives at risk.

Earlier, medical sources in Gaza reported that at least 18 Palestinians were martyred as a result of the occupation’s airstrikes on various areas in the strip.

The Gaza Ministry of Health announced that the death toll since the war began on October 7, 2023, has surpassed 50,000.
