The International Organization for Migration reported that 15,000 families have been displaced from the town of Malha in North Darfur, western Sudan, due to clashes between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces.

The UN-affiliated organization stated in a Monday statement that the displacement occurred over 48 hours between Thursday and Friday. It also noted that the displaced people fled to other areas within the same region, amid ongoing tensions.
