Earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand: Death Toll Rises to Over 150

The death toll from the powerful earthquake measuring 7.7 that struck Myanmar and Thailand has risen to over 150, causing widespread destruction and damage to infrastructure.

Myanmar’s military government head, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, reported at least 144 fatalities and 730 injuries in his country.

In Thailand, at least 10 people were killed in the capital, Bangkok, where a 30-story building under construction collapsed, trapping 43 workers.

Initial reports indicate severe damage in central Myanmar, with 90 individuals still missing after the building collapse.
