Media reports from Yemen have indicated a series of American airstrikes on various locations in Yemen on Friday evening.

The reports stated that more than 20 airstrikes targeted the capital, Sana’a, Saada Governorate, and the Al-Jawf region.

Eight strikes were launched on the Al-Sawad area in the Sanhan district south of Sana’a, and another eight targeted the government complex in the Al-Hazm district of Al-Jawf Governorate. The airstrikes also hit the vicinity of the city of Saada and the Sahar district.

Since March 15, the United States has been conducting intensive airstrikes against the Houthis in Yemen, who responded by targeting an American aircraft carrier in the Red Sea.
