In light of ongoing developments in the Ukrainian conflict, Russian President Vladimir Putin has proposed the creation of a temporary administration under UN supervision to govern Ukraine, emphasizing that this would pave the way for legitimate negotiations for a settlement.

During a meeting with the crew of the nuclear submarine “Arkhangelsk” in the Russian city of Murmansk, Putin pointed out that Russia does not know with whom to sign agreements from the Ukrainian side, considering that the current Ukrainian authorities lack legitimacy due to the absence of presidential elections.
