Qatar and Algeria have signed an agreement worth $3.5 billion to implement an agricultural project in southern Algeria, aimed at producing fodder, raising cattle, and producing milk and meat.

The project, spanning 117,000 hectares, aims to meet 50% of the national market’s needs for locally produced powdered milk, in addition to providing red meat.
