Iran has threatened to launch an attack on the British-American joint base of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean if targeted by a military strike from Washington.

This warning came from a senior Iranian military official, who stated that Tehran would respond firmly to any escalation from the Trump administration.

The official noted that Iran possesses the capability to execute such an attack using “Khoramshahr” missiles and “Shahed 136 B” drones.
