Israeli Occupation Requests Evacuation of Northern Gaza and Proposes Ceasefire in Exchange for Release of Prisoners

The Israeli occupation issued a warning to Palestinians to evacuate large areas of northern Gaza ahead of an impending attack, cautioning that this is a final warning before the airstrike.

Israeli spokesperson Avichai Adraee urged residents to move to “shelter centers,” despite the lack of available shelter in the Gaza Strip.

In a related context, the Israeli occupation proposed to mediators a ceasefire lasting between 40 and 50 days in Gaza in exchange for the release of half of the living Israeli prisoners held by Hamas, which amounts to 24 individuals, as well as the return of the remains of about 35 others believed to have died during their captivity.
