Organizations: Field Executions in Khartoum Claim 45 Civilians’ Lives in Two Days

Human rights organizations have revealed that elements of the Sudanese army and allied forces carried out field executions over the past two days, resulting in the deaths of at least 45 civilians in several areas of the capital, Khartoum.

Reports indicate that these executions targeted prisoners and civilians in neighborhoods in southern and eastern Khartoum, as well as the Jebel Awliya area.

Since the outbreak of war between the army and the Rapid Support Forces in April 2023, over 150,000 people have been killed, and approximately 15 million have been forced to flee their homes, while millions face the threat of famine and severe food insecurity.
