Martyrs in Gaza Surpass 50,000 Since Start of Israeli Aggression

The number of Palestinian martyrs in the Gaza Strip has risen to 50,669, the majority of them children and women, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, according to medical sources cited by the Palestinian News Agency.

Gaza continues to endure one of the most devastating military assaults in its history, as Israeli forces intensify air and ground attacks across residential areas and key infrastructure, particularly in the southern and central regions of the Strip.

Medical sources report a near-total collapse of the healthcare system, with a severe shortage of medicines and essential supplies. Hospitals are overwhelmed and operating far below capacity due to the ongoing siege and fuel shortages.

Despite growing international calls for a ceasefire and the opening of safe humanitarian corridors, the military operations persist, resulting in a deepening humanitarian catastrophe and hindering international organizations from delivering aid to devastated areas.
