During his visit to Egypt on Monday and Tuesday, French President Emmanuel Macron announced today, Saturday, the convening of a tripartite summit regarding the situation in Gaza with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Jordan’s King Abdullah II.
Macron posted on the X platform that the summit is a response to the emergency in Gaza.
He arrived in Cairo on Sunday evening, where he will hold a meeting with Sisi on Monday morning, followed by the tripartite summit on the same day.
He will also visit Al-Arish on Tuesday to meet with humanitarian and security officials as part of his efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza.
