Russian forces launched a missile attack on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv in the early hours of Sunday, resulting in one death and three injuries, along with widespread destruction and fires in multiple areas of the city.

Kyiv authorities deemed this attack one of the largest missile strikes in recent weeks.
