The Russian Ministry of Defense announced yesterday that the “North” group forces managed to seize the town of “Basovka” in the Sumy region and targeted Ukrainian military facilities with precision weapons.

The ministry also confirmed today the capture of Katerinivka in Donetsk, with Ukrainian forces reportedly losing over 985 soldiers across various fronts.

Meanwhile, the ministry stated that Ukraine launched six attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, despite a U.S.-brokered ceasefire agreement.
