Wildfires have been raging for the fourth consecutive day in several areas of Nepal, with high temperatures triggering new blazes that have caused significant damage in the Dhang area and threatened nearby residential zones.

The flames have rapidly spread through the Ashu forest, damaging water pipelines and destroying livestock shelters.

Residents criticized the Forest Management Office for failing to take necessary measures to combat the fires.

In other areas, the wildfires have increased air pollution and posed a threat to civilian safety.
