10 Palestinians from One Family Martyred in Israeli Airstrike on Khan Younis

Ten Palestinians from a single family, including children and women, were martyred on Friday morning in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Al-Farra family home in the Al-Mahatta neighborhood in central Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, as part of a series of attacks that struck various areas in the north and south since dawn.

According to medical sources at Nasser Hospital, the victims’ bodies arrived severely burned, along with several civilians wounded due to continued shelling in the densely populated neighborhood. Ambulance and civil defense teams were seen attempting to recover the victims from under the rubble amid widespread destruction of neighboring homes.

This airstrike comes as part of a continuous Israeli escalation on the Strip for more than 18 months, which has left thousands dead and injured, most of them women and children, in what international human rights organizations describe as systematic violations of the laws of war and a “genocide against civilians.”

Humanitarian organizations have called for urgent intervention to stop the targeting of residential areas and to provide safe corridors for the evacuation of the wounded and the delivery of aid, warning of a worsening humanitarian catastrophe amid a suffocating blockade and severe shortage of medical supplies.
