U.S. Airstrikes Hit Residential and Agricultural Areas in Yemen’s Capital Sana’a

U.S. aircraft launched a series of early-morning airstrikes on Friday targeting residential and agricultural areas in Yemen’s capital Sana’a, according to the Houthi-run Al-Masirah TV channel.

The report stated that five consecutive air raids struck Bani Hashish district, east of the capital, causing significant material damage to both public and private properties. No casualties were reported at the time of publication.

An additional intense airstrike hit Jabal Nuqm, a strategic mountain east of Sana’a, stirring panic among civilians as the air campaign intensifies across Yemen.

The attacks come amid increased U.S. military activity in the region, framed by Washington as part of deterrence efforts against threats to international maritime routes. However, the Houthis have condemned the strikes, calling them a blatant act of foreign aggression on Yemeni sovereignty.

These strikes are the latest in an expanding series of operations by U.S. and allied forces, coinciding with the collapse of peace efforts and a worsening humanitarian crisis in the war-torn country.
