US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff arrived in Russia on Friday for talks with President Vladimir Putin.

According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, discussions will cover various aspects of the Ukraine settlement due to the complexity of the issue.

This marks the third meeting between Witkoff and Putin as part of Trump’s mediation efforts for a ceasefire amid US frustration over the lack of progress in negotiations.
