A source close to Hezbollah reported that most of the party’s military sites in South Litani are now under the control of the Lebanese army, with the party handing over about 190 out of 265 military points.
This follows a ceasefire agreement on November 27, which called for the deployment of UN peacekeeping forces and the Lebanese army in southern Lebanon.
In a related context, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun emphasized that the state and army are the only entities capable of protecting Lebanon.
