Qatar and Egypt have affirmed their full support for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, according to a joint statement released after high-level talks held Monday in Doha between Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Both leaders expressed their anticipation for hosting an international conference in Cairo in cooperation with regional and international partners. The conference aims to coordinate humanitarian and development efforts to improve the living conditions of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The initiative underscores both countries’ commitment to alleviating the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and advancing stability and recovery through joint regional action.
