Syrian media reported on Tuesday the discovery of a mass grave containing women and children in the western countryside of Homs.

Citizens found the grave in the Al-Buqai’a Plain, located within a drainage area in the middle of an agricultural field.

Syrian platforms noted that Al-Buqai’a Plain is one of the prominent areas that has witnessed cases of enforced disappearances and arbitrary arrests affecting hundreds of residents amid the control of the forces of former President Bashar al-Assad and the militias loyal to him.
